Bearcat baseball, softball teams host early season games

The Northwest Missouri State University Baseball and Softball squads played games March 9 in Maryville. The baseball team defeated Washburn 15-12, and would complete the series sweep on March 10 with an 11-6 win. The softball team dropped two games against Augustana, 1-5 and 3-4.

BJ AL hosts ham dinner 

The Rolla Dicks American Legion Auxiliary is having a ham dinner serving from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, March 14 at the Burlington Jct. AL Building. Menu is ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, dessert and drinks. Cost is $10, children five and under are free. Carryout is available.

Pickering buys new sewer pump
