Workday planned for Ben’s Stockings

Spring workdays have been planned for Ben’s Stockings of Hope from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday, March 2 and Saturday, April 6 at the Wesley Center, 549 West Fourth Street, Maryville. Volunteers will sew, cut, craft and match, while working to help those in need. Snacks and conversation provided.

Statewide tornado drill set for March 5

The annual statewide tornado drill will be at 10 am, Tuesday, March 5. In case of actual inclement weather, the makeup day is Thursday, March 7. The drill is part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, March 4-8.
