The Platte Valley softball bats were hot as the team won 17-1 over the South Holt Knights on senior night, September 15.  

The Maryville High School Spoofhound Girls Golf team played through adverse weather conditions at the Central High School Golf Tournament in St. Joseph, September 10. Temperatures in the low 50s accompanied by mist and light rain, led the young team to place seventh out of 11 teams

West Nodaway boys took second at the Tarkio invitational September 14, which was at the Tarkio Golf Club.

The Maryville High School Spoofhound Football team scored often and scored last in the 62-7 senior night win over the Chillicothe Hornets, September 11. The Hornets made seven points on the team’s first possession of the ball. Then Maryville defense held the Hornets scoreless, while the Hound offense rolled on to score 62 unanswered points.
