Senior center receives grant from MFA Oil

The Nodaway County Senior Center was given a $2,000 grant from the MFA Oil Foundation on June 30. The grant will be used for bathroom updates, and a new paint job for their walk-in cooler. The grant was to be used for tangible items. The sink, counters and toilets all needed updates/repairs in both bathrooms.

Maryville’s South Avenue to close at Main Street intersection

Maryville’s South Avenue – South Main Street intersection will be closed to through-traffic for an approximate six week period beginning at 7 am, Monday, July 25, due to the contractor needs with the South Main Improvement Project. VF Anderson Builders, LLC will reconstruct portions of South Avenue that require full depth subgrade and pavement replacement.
