Tourism Committee steps back from STR subscription

At the January 10 Maryville Tourism Committee meeting, discussion was held on subscribing to STR reports on local hotel occupancy. The committee had decided in fall 2023 to subscribe. Maryville approves more funding for South Main

At the January 11 Maryville City Council meeting, additional funding for South Main Phase II was approved. Animal shelter recovers from fire

The New Nodaway Humane Society Animal Shelter is recovering from the December 19 fire. Shelter Manager Wendy Combs said the fire started in the electrical circuits above the dog holding area.
