The Maryville Spoofhounds competed in the Quad State Classic 2021 against several other schools and placed third as a team January 30. Senior Keiren Watkins and junior Drew Spire placed first in their respective weight classes. Watkins celebrated his 100th win during the meet January 30.
The PV girls routed the Mound City team 74-17 February 2 at the Panthers’ home court. Freshman Jayce Holtman brings the ball into Platte Valley territory. On January 19th the Northeast Nodaway boys lost to Mound City with a score of 84-51. The girls’ game ended with Mound City beating Northeast Nodaway 47-33.
