Spoofhounds host Quad State Classic 

The Maryville Spoofhounds competed in the Quad State Classic 2021 against several other schools and placed third as a team January 30. Senior Keiren Watkins and junior Drew Spire placed first in their respective weight classes. Watkins celebrated his 100th win during the meet January 30.

Platte Valley split the games against Mound City

The PV girls routed the Mound City team 74-17 February 2 at the Panthers’ home court. Freshman Jayce Holtman brings the ball into Platte Valley territory.   The Platte Valley boys faced a tough Panther opponent later that evening. PV lost 37-72. On January 22, West Nodaway Superintendent Mitch Barnes announced the decisions made by the West Nodaway and Nodaway-Holt sports co-op advisory committee.
