The Maryville Spoofhound Football Team lost 14-42 to Blair Oaks on August 29 at the Hound Pound to start the season. Maryville kept it close early, and had the game tied 14-14 in the third quarter before the Falcons pulled away. The Maryville Boys Soccer team hosted a jamboree August 23, and were able to get minutes against Bishop LeBlond, Lafayette and Savannah. They officially start the season at the Barstow Tournament September 2-6.
The Platte Valley Softball team got some valuable playing time on August 23 in Maryville, playing against the Spoofhounds, East Buchanan and Savannah.
A community pep rally was held on August 21 at the Hound Pound so fans could meet the various teams competing this fall. Maryville Pizza Ranch General Manager Paul Thompson was joined by two seniors from the teams as he presented a $4,720 check to the Maryville Booster Club.

The 2025 eight Trojanette teams gathered recently at the Maryville High School Performing Arts Center for the celebration of the year. Trojanette teams, ages 8 to 18, had a combined season record of 184 wins, 120 losses this summer.
