Food pantry is in Skidmore 

The Skidmore Food Pantry will be from 4 to 5 pm, Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28 at Newton Hall. Participants are asked to line up coming down the street. It is for residents of the Nodaway-Holt school district. Senior food boxes will be available to those who are signed up.

Mires to hold reunion

The Mires reunion will be held beginning with a carry-in dinner at 12:30 pm, Sunday, March 26 at the Nodaway County Senior Center, 1210 East First Street, Maryville. Drinks and table service will be provided. The late Elmer and Mildred Mires families are in charge.

Ravenwood hosts community breakfast

The Ravenwood Community Breakfast will be held from 8 am to noon, Sunday, March 26 at the Ravenwood Community Center. The menu includes eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children. The Northeast Nodaway Student Council will be helping.

The Missouri Quilt Museum, located in Hamilton, has re-opened for the season. The Northwest Missouri Regional Council is sponsoring an e-waste and white goods collection in Skidmore, Hopkins and Maryville on Saturday, March 25. The second annual Craft Supply Bonanza will be from 11 am to 2 pm, Saturday, March 25 at the Maryville Public Library basement, 509 North Main Street.
