The American Legion Fourth District meeting will be at 1:30 pm, Sunday, March 12, which is the first day of 2023 daylight savings time. The event including a meal and the four chaplains ceremony will be held at the Leon A. Robbins Memorial Post 318, 11 Main Street, Parkville.

Elmo fund raises with fish fry

BJ AL hosts soup supper

The Burlington Jct. Rolla Dicks American Legion Auxiliary is hosting a soup supper from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, March 10 at the AL. The menu is beef stew, chili, cornbread, relish plate, dessert and drink. Adults are $10. Children five and under are free.

AL holds breakfast

The American Legion Post #528 will hold a free will donation breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, March 5 at the AL Post in Parnell. The menu includes pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, coffee and orange juice.
