Northwest Missouri State University is celebrating the completion of a renovation to accommodate its new systems management for manufacturing and agribusiness program. Lions Club holds ham, turkey dinner in Pickering

The Pickering Lions Club is holding a ham and turkey dinner from 11 am to 1:30 pm, Sunday, November 5 at the Pickering Community building. The freewill donation dinner has ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, dressing, rolls and desserts. Proceeds will go toward community projects.

AL Post serves breakfast

American Legion Post 100 and Scout Troops 190 and 74 will serve breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, November 5 at the post, 1104 East Fifth Street, Maryville. The menu includes biscuits and gravy, pancakes, eggs, sausage, hash browns, orange juice and coffee. Cost is $9 for adults; ages six and under are $5.
