Local athletes compete at track sectionals

Athletes from North Nodaway, Northeast Nodaway, Nodaway Valley and Platte Valley all competed at the Class 1 Sectional 4 Meet at Mound City on May 17. Each school will send athletes to the Class 1 State Championship Meet on May 23 and 24 in Jefferson City.

Bluejays drop regular season finale 

The Northeast Nodaway Bluejays Baseball team lost to Pattonsburg 0-11 on May 13 in Ravenwood to wrap up the regular season. Northeast Nodaway will face off against East Atchison on May 16 in Burlington Jct. to start the Class 2 District 16 Tournament.

Spoofhound golf continues successful season

The team traveled to Clarinda for a dual on April 22, and came away with the victory, shooting a 147. Seniors Jack Dinsdale and Kaleb Groomer were co-medalists, each shooting a 36.
