Janette Padgitt opens new Edward Jones location

Janette Padgitt‘s Edward Jones business has moved to 918 South Main, Maryville from the downtown location. She wielded the scissors with Branch Office Administrators Linda Seipel and Beverly Dunn, holding the ribbon ends along with her husband, Doug Padgitt. Several Maryville Chamber Ambassadors were there to congratulate Padgitt on the new office.

Skidmore meets to swear in council, approve CBDG grant

The Skidmore City Council met April 22 to swear in the city aldermen and consider reapplying for the CBDG grant. The recently elected aldermen were sworn in, with Dennis Gladman and Thomas Wilmes returning to serve two-year terms. New alderman James Duncan will serve a one-year term. Gladman will continue as the mayor pro tem.
