Mobile pantry comes to Barnard

The Second Harvest Community Food Bank Fresh Mobile Food Pantry will begin at 10 am, Wednesday, June 25 on Fourth Street, Barnard. It is open to the public and will continue as long as supplies last.

Museum sets annual membership meeting

The 2025 annual meeting for the Nodaway County Historical Society Museum members will be at 5:30 pm, Monday, June 23 at the museum, 110 North Walnut, Maryville. It is open to all members. Appetizers will be served.

Eagles hold fundraiser for Forney

Maryville Bearcats Eagles Lodge 3669 is holding a fundraiser for Phil Forney from 4 to 6 pm, Sunday, June 22 at the lodge, 29997 Highway 71, south of Maryville. Forney is an Eagles trustee and lead singer in the Forney Brothers Band. The menu is chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, desserts and drinks.

The West Nodaway FFA will serve breakfast from 8 to 11 am, Sunday, June 22 in the high school cafeteria. The freewill donation meal will include biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, pancakes, orange juice and coffee.

The Bearcat Aerie Eagles 3669 will have its fourth annual poker run beginning with registration at noon and the ride at 1 pm, Saturday, June 21 at the aerie, 29997 US Hwy 71, Maryville.
