The West Nodaway School district held a Be Alert® Stop Trafficking Project presentation given by Russ Tuttle, president and founder. The presentation was held in two sessions. The Platte Valley boys placed second at the St. Joseph Christian Invitational held October 23 at Missouri Western State University while several other county runners also saw success. Northwest Missouri State University is mourning one of its students who was found deceased in his on-campus residence last night. The student, Samuel H. Davis, 19, was found inside his room at Millikan Hall. No foul play is suspected. He was a first-year radiologic science major from Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and he was employed as
