Youth auditions are at The Rose Theatre

Auditions for “The Real Aladdin, Jr.” will be held starting at 2 pm, Saturday, January 6 at The Rose Theatre, 120 West Third Street, Maryville. This is for youth from fourth through eighth grade. If youth attended pre-auditions in December, they will receive a text or email with their personal audition slot on January 6.

Beemers donate to North Star Advocacy Center

Be Better By Beemer, BBBB, donated a $5,000 check to the North Star Advocacy Center at a donation presentation December 22 at Beemer’s Muffler Center. BBBB is an organization run by James and Johnna Beemer, and Dakota and Brittany Beemer. They host various events each year and donate proceeds toward different organizations in Northwest Missouri.

The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce was a recipient of a 2023 Building Business/Community Partnership for Afterschool Success Grant in the amount of $4,000. The grant was funded by the Missouri Afterschool Network (MASN) in partnership with the Missouri Chamber Foundation and the Missouri Math and Science Coalition.
