Northwest to host ‘Frog Prints’ puppet show

The classic fairytale “The Frog Prince” is set to play at Northwest Missouri State University this month – with a twist. Kansas City’s StoneLion Puppet Theatre will present “The Frog Prints,” a funny and poignant musical, at 6 pm, Monday, October 23, in the Studio Theater at the Ron Houston Center for the Performing Arts.

Dr. Frank Turek of Cross Examined.org will present on the topic “If God, Why Evil?” at 7 pm, Monday, October 23 at the Charles Johnson Theater, Northwest Missouri State University Fine Arts Building. Treats come to Downtown Maryville in 28th annual event

The 28th annual Downtown Maryville Trick or Treat event will be from 5 to 6:30 pm, Monday, October 30 in Downtown Maryville. This year the event is being sponsored by the Maryville Pride Lions Club. County 8th graders tour area manufacturers

Nodaway County eighth graders from Maryville, Jefferson, South Nodaway, West Nodaway, Nodaway-Holt, North Nodaway and Northeast Nodaway had the opportunity to tour four of the following manufacturers and businesses: Laclede, DRIV/Tenneco, Kawasaki, Mosaic Medical Center, JL Houston/PolyTank, Metal Culverts, NUCOR-LMP and Nodaway County Services.
