Health center returns to normal activities

The Nodaway County Health Center Board of Trustees met June 15. After two years of pandemic response due to COVID-19, the health center is finally getting back to its regular programs and activities. Historical Society to hold annual meeting

The Nodaway County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting beginning at 5:30 pm, Monday, June 27 at the museum, 110 North Walnut, Maryville. The meeting is open to all members. There will be voting on new board members, taking suggestions for upcoming programs, announcing the Stairway of Stars addition, and celebration of members and volunteers.

Community breakfast is in Ravenwood

The Ravenwood community breakfast will be from 8 am to noon, Sunday, June 26 at the Ravenwood Community Center. The menu is eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy and pancakes. Adults are $10 and children are $5. Proceeds go toward the Northeast Nodaway senior class.

Ambulance district confirms sales tax payment 

The Nodaway County Ambulance District met for their monthly meeting June 8. The sales tax payment for the month was confirmed to be $125,665.72, an almost one percent increase from the year before and a nine percent increase from 2020.
