Local Elks Lodge gathers deer hides

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 760, Maryville, is collecting deer hides to be used for gloves for disabled veterans. The Nodaway Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 10 am, Saturday, November 13 at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. DAR will honor Merle White, posthumously, as a patriot who was a World War II veteran.

Hunters Breakfast to be held at Guilford UMC

Everyone is welcome to the Hunters Breakfast from 5 am to noon, Saturday, November 13  at the Guilford United Methodist Church. It is a freewill donation sponsored by the Busy Bee 4-H Club. Breakfast includes biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and cinnamon rolls.

Martha C. Walker

Martha Catherine Walker, 85, Maryville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Oak Pointe of Maryville.
