The Ravenwood Community Breakfast will be held from 8 am to noon, Sunday, September 26 at the Ravenwood Community Center. It’s all-you-can-eat and cost is $8 for adults, $6 for children. Proceeds will benefit the Northeast Nodaway band color guard.

Elmo sponsors smoked pork dinner

The City of Elmo is hosting a smoked pork dinner from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, September 25 at the Elmo City Building, 201 Main Street. The freewill donation meal is smoked pulled pork, cheese potatoes, baked beans and coleslaw. To go meals are available. Proceeds will help to maintain the upkeep of Elmo.

Northwest Missouri State University is mourning one of its students who was found deceased in his on-campus residence last night. The student, Samuel H.
