Northwest altering Recycling Center hours during winter break

Northwest Missouri State University’s Recycling Center will operate with limited hours during the university’s winter break. The Recycling Center, located in the 1100 block of Icon Road, will close Friday, December 23, through Sunday, December 25. Northwest announces winter break hours for Hughes Fieldhouse

Northwest Missouri State University has announced winter break hours for community members at the Carl and Cheryl Hughes Fieldhouse. The Hughes Fieldhouse will open from 9 am to 3 pm, December 22 – 23, 26 – 30 and January 2 – 3. Access to the facility at these times is free and available to individuals

Chorale, Spectrum unite to provide Christmas concert

The Nodaway Chorale, with its 40-member chorus led by Jim Rash, director, invited the Maryville High School Spectrum to join in at their annual Christmas concert, “Holiday Tapestry” December 11 in the Schneider Performing Arts Center at MHS. Hopkins Parade brightens town, attendees

The first Hopkins Lighted Christmas Parade saw 28 Christmas cheer entries on December 3. Then the community gathered for a soup supper as a fundraiser for the Hopkins Housing to help pay for some needed repairs.

County to apply for a jail improvement grant
