Sheila Smail celebrated her retirement from the City of Maryville on June 12. Along with her husband, Rick Smail, Sheila received well wishes from co-workers, family and friends. Smail had worked for the city for 23 years, 10 in the public works department and 13 as city clerk.

The University received confirmation June 13 that Lillian Jacks, a freshman agriculture education major from Conway, had died.
