The Nodaway Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will have its monthly meeting on Saturday, April 8 at the First United Methodist Church, Maryville. The business meeting will be at 1 pm and the honors and awards ceremony will be at 2 pm.

FUMC invites bikes for blessing

The First United methodist Church, 102 North Main Street, Maryville, will hold the second annual bike blessing and breakfast beginning with breakfast at 9 am, Saturday, April 1. The blessing is to follow at 10 am. All motorcyclists, scooter riders and bicyclists are invited. Weather date will by Saturday, April 8.

Graham Lions to fry fish, chicken, mtn oysters

The Graham Lions Club will host an all-you-can-eat fish, mountain oysters and chicken fry from 4:30 to 7 pm on Saturday, April 1, at the Graham Community Building. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. This is the last fry of the season.

Parnell Firefighters to host hog roast

The Parnell Fire Protection District personnel will be providing a full roasted hog meal from 5:30 to 8 pm, Saturday, April 1 at the American Legion. The menu includes pork, baked potato, salads, baked beans, dessert and beverages. Freewill donation will be collected.
