Raymond Edison Hanna, Maryville, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Mosaic Life Care, St. Joseph. He was 88. Ray was born in Clearmont, on July 15, 1934, to Edison and Bernice Hollensbe Hanna. Senior Center lets contract to pave parking lot

At the Nodaway County Senior Citizens Senate meeting, June 21, Administrator Amie Firavich announced the senior center had a contract with Keller Construction, St. Joseph to mill the parking lot, put a two-inch asphalt overlay, paint the parking stripes and include the alley. Spoofhound Wrestling Camp calls for youth participants

The Spoofhound Wrestling Camp, July 27-28, is for all school-aged youth and will be held at Maryville High School. The first day, for children first through sixth grades, will accept registrations from 3:15 to 3:45 with the camp being from 4 to 6 pm. The July 28 will be for youth grades seven through 12.
