Hopkins Community Betterment is holding a bingo fundraiser opens at 5 pm, bingo starts at 6:30 pm, Saturday, September 13 at the Community Building. There will be nachos, pulled pork sandwiches and more.

The Skidmore Depot Museum is open 10 am to 2 pm, Saturday, September 13 and 2 to 5 pm, Sunday, September 14.
The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum will be open from 9 to 11 am, Saturday, September 13 for second Saturday coffee. The museum is located at 110 North Walnut Street, Maryville.
The 102 DoNation which covers Pickering and Hopkins recently donated $2,117 to the Pickering Lions Club. At the presentation were Lions Bob Colville, Pat McKee, Jerry Roush, Darren Clements, Donna Smith, Gary Vogel and Charlie Smith. The Lions will be using the money for its scholarship fund.
The Rolla Dicks American Legion Auxiliary is holding a tenderloin supper from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, September 12 at the AL Building in Burlington Jct. The menu is tenderloin sandwiches, potatoes, desserts and a drink. Adults are $10, children five and under are free. Carryout is available.
MoDOT has contracted Above & Below Contracting, LLC, Imperial, for a resurfacing project that will lengthen the lifespan of roadways in three counties.
