Thunder take down King City
The Nodaway Valley Thunder Baseball team defeated King City 11-1 on May 20 in the Class 2 District 16 Semi-final. The game was played in Maryville due to poor field conditions in Burlington Jct.
Maryville Mosaic’s Caitlin Korthanke honored with The DAISY® Award

Local athletes compete at track sectionals
Athletes from North Nodaway, Northeast Nodaway, Nodaway Valley and Platte Valley all competed at the Class 1 Sectional 4 Meet at Mound City on May 17. Each school will send athletes to the Class 1 State Championship Meet on May 23 and 24 in Jefferson City.

Tickets available for annual Northwest Night with the St. Joseph Mustangs
Northwest Missouri State University students, employees, alumni and friends are again invited to enjoy fun at the ballpark this summer with the Northwest Alumni Association. Post Office delivers to Ministry Center
The annual United States Post Office food drive in Maryville delivered 3,233 pounds of food and a $25 check to The Ministry Center, Maryville. Post Office representatives Shawn Staples and Brooke Caltrider presented the haul, May 12, to Ministry Center representative Dave Baker.
