Cattlemen hold Round-up

The Nodaway County Cattlemen’s Association is holding the 12th annual Cattlemen’s Round-Up with a social beginning at 5:30 pm, steak dinner at 6:30 pm, Saturday, February 8 at the Ag Learning Center on Highway 71, Maryville. There will be the 2025 scholarship presentation and a live and silent auction to follow.

Youth group holds spaghetti supper

The Bethany Christian Church, Barnard, will hold a spaghetti supper from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, February 7 in the church basement. The freewill donation supper is a Vacation Bible School fundraiser for the youth group. Menu is spaghetti, lasagna, salad, garlic bread and desserts.

Ambulance board approves raises

The Nodaway County Ambulance District met January 8 and approved a raise of $1.50 per hour for employees. Maryville council approves Mozingo items

Several items related to Mozingo Lake Recreation Park were approved at the Maryville City Council meeting on January 27. Hopkins get $524,646 for fire truck
