AL Post 100 to serve pancake

American Legion Post 100 and Scout Troops 190 and 74 will have a pancake breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, March 3 at the Post, 1104 East Fifth Street, Maryville. Adults are $9; children six and under are $5. Proceeds go to support veterans and Scout programs.

The American Legion Post #528 will hold a freewill donation breakfast from 8 am to noon, Sunday, March 3 at the AL Post in Parnell. The menu includes pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs made to order, bacon, sausage, coffee and orange juice.

Watkins represents Maryville at state wrestling 

Maryville Spoofhound Freshman Kedrick Watkins wrapped up his first high school wrestling season on February 21 in Columbia at Mizzou Arena. Watkins, wrestling in the 165 weight division in Class 2, started off against Evan Winters of St. Genevieve, losing 12-3. His next match was an 11-2 loss against Landon Commons of Seneca, pictured.

Graham Lions hosts fish, chicken fry

The Graham Lions Club is having a fish and chicken fry from 4:30 to 7 pm, Saturday, March 2 at the community building in Graham. The menu is carp, catfish, chicken, mountain oysters, potatoes and salad. Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for ages 12 and under. For takeout orders call 660.254.0451.
