Northeast Nodaway science students placed in 23 events at the regional science olympiad, had 12 first place finishes and a school sixth place finish. With 30 entries, the Maryville Optimist Club recently awarded the top three winners in the Optimist Essay Contest. Missouri Scholars Academy selects Maryville student

Abigail Seipel, a Maryville High School sophomore, has been accepted to participate in the 2021 Missouri Scholars Virtual Academy. Due to COVID-19, the academy activities will be virtual. North Nodaway students recognized for reading

Four second graders from North Nodaway win reading awards. They are Braxton Dougherty, Kyle Davison, Kamden Reynolds and Montana Morrow. The students received a positive office referral called, “Caught Being Awesome!” Their teacher noticed that they were working together during reading class in an exemplary way and providing good leadership and modeling to their classmates.
