Nodaway-Holt seniors, Brilyn DeVers and Shaina Culp, both seniors, were crowned king and queen during Courtwarming, January 19. NH boys and girls basketball teams both won over West Nodaway. WN hires Harding as high school 2021-22 principal

The West Nodaway Board of Education announced January 7, the hiring of Tim Harding as the 2021-22 middle and high school principal. Harding grew up on a farm near Ridgeway. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2000 with a BS in animal science and returned to the family farm for a few years.

Three members of the West Nodaway FFA Chapter were Santa’s elves December 17 delivering 30 frozen turkeys to the Nodaway County Sheriff Department. The turkeys were purchased by an anonymous donor. Cracking the missing gingerbreads case

Nodaway County Sheriff’s Department’s Resource/DARE Officer Rick Smail came to Nodaway-Holt elementary to assist Kristen Roger’s kindergarten class and make a missing persons report for the 13 missing gingerbreads that disappeared. They have been wreaking havoc around the school and making messes leaving clues.
