Elmo celebrates 70th fireworks event

The families of the Elmo community enjoyed the 70th annual celebration that featured activities, food, vendor shopping, parade and fireworks on June 27. Carl Shipley’s 1963 Plymouth Valiant convertible, with Miles Shipley as the co-pilot, was among the parade’s classic cars and pickups.
