South Nodaway holds flag football camp

Dan Collins, Platte Valley head football coach, is hosting a flag football clinic for South Nodaway and Jefferson fourth to sixth grade students. Participants will spend two evenings learning offensive and defensive plays and will scrimmage during half time at the PV vs. Stewartsville game on Friday, October 7.

Spoofhounds win Homecoming

Maryville High School Spoofhound football defenders swarm the Smithville Warriors quarterback and win Homecoming 39-0. Smithville was unable to capitalize on 11 Hound penalties in the first half, one of which called back a touchdown in the final seconds. See more in this week’s Nodaway News Leader.
