The seasonal opening of the Nodaway County Historical Society Museum includes celebrating Pi Day from 1 to 4 pm, Tuesday, March 14 with homemade pie. A slice of pie is $5. The museum is at 110 North Walnut, Maryville.
The NOCOMO Industries, Inc. Board of Directors canceled the regular quarterly meeting scheduled for March 8 at the workshop site, NOCOMO Board Attorney Bob Sundell reported. Sundell was unavailable for comment on the reason for the cancellation.
Kenna Parman has worked in the Maryville R-II School District for a little over 30 years. She has been the office manager at the high school, administrative assistant and board of education secretary during her time in the district. The Optimist Club of Maryville’s Annual Oratorical Contest had seven youth competing March 2 at the First Christian Church.
