Elmo sponsors fish fry

The Elmo Fish Fry will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, October 9 at the Community Building. Fried fish, chicken, potatoes, salads and drink will cost $9 for adults; children 12 and under are $5. Indoor seating or carryout is available, social distancing is recommended. Money raised goes to community service projects.

Ham dinner is scheduled at BJ

A ham dinner will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, October 8 at the American Legion Building, Burlington Jct. Cost is $10 for adults; children age five and under are free. Ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, desserts and a drink will be served. It is sponsored by the BJ AL Auxiliary.
