The Elmo Fish Fry will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, October 9 at the Community Building. Fried fish, chicken, potatoes, salads and drink will cost $9 for adults; children 12 and under are $5. Marcia G. Thompson, 74, Springfield, and a former area resident, died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at home. She will be buried in the Hopkins Cemetery, Hopkins. Arrangements are pending at the Bram Funeral Home, Maryville.
