The Hopkins Community Club will sponsor a beef and noodles dinner from 11 am to 1 pm on Sunday, October 23 at the Hopkins Community Building. Skidmore Community Betterment will hold a chicken dinner from 11 am to 1 pm, Sunday, October 23 at Newton Hall, Skidmore. The menu is fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, salads, rolls and desserts. A free will donation will be accepted with takeout available for $6. The Ravenwood Community Betterment breakfast will be from 8 am to noon, Sunday, October 23 at the Ravenwood Community Building, West Hawk Street. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.
