Patricia Archer

Patricia Irene Merrigan Archer, 94, Maryville, died Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Presbyterian Manor in Lawrence, KS.

She was born September 25, 1930, to Patrick and Irene McLaughlin Merrigan in Conception. She graduated from Jefferson High School.

In 1948, she married Donald Edward Archer. He preceded her in death after 58 years of marriage.

Mrs. Archer graduated from Mount Mercy College and began working as a home economist for the REC in Anamosa, IA. She and her husband opened Archer Tax Service. In 1999, they retired to Maryville.

She was a member of St. Gregory’s Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 am, Friday, July 25 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville. The burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Conception.
