The annual Salvation Army bell ringing campaign began December 1 in Maryville and volunteers are needed for the fundraising drive which keeps all donations in Nodaway County. The Maryville Ministerial Fellowship donated $843.37 to the Nodaway County Senior Center’s Angels for Seniors program. The Maryville R-II School Board will discuss expanding the district’s preschool program during its regular December meeting. On December 5, the West Nodaway girls and boys basketball teams suffered losses against the South Holt Knights. The girls final score was 32-43, the boys, 59-67.
