The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, January 13 at the Elmo Community Building. Besides fish there will be fried chicken, potatoes, salads and drink. American Legion Post will hold a supper featuring ham and beans, corn bread, chicken noodle soup, drink and dessert from 5-7 pm, Friday, January 12 at the American Legion Building in Burlington Jct. Mary Nelle Adkins, 80, died Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Community Hospital, Fairfax. Funeral services were held Monday, January 8 at Rupp Funeral Home, St Joseph with Pastor Scott Jensen officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Rupp Funeral Home.
