The Burlington Jct. American Legion Post monthly supper featuring breaded tenderloin sandwiches will be from 5-7 pm, Friday, May 12, at the American Legion Building in Burlington Jct. Also included are french fries, salad, drink and dessert. Cost is $7 for adults, children 10 and under are free.
The Burlington Jct. United Methodist Church Women are holding a bake sale from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, May 12, and 9 am to 11 am, Saturday, May 13 at the church. The sale will feature a wide variety of baked goods, with proceeds going to mission work.
The Elmo Fish Fry is from 5 to 7 pm, Saturday, May 13, at the Elmo Community Building. Besides fish there will be fried chicken, jacket fries, lettuce salad, cole slaw and baked beans. Cost is $9. Proceeds go towards the Elmo 4th of July and is sponsored by the Elmo Community Betterment.
