Northwest suspends acceptance of recyclable materials from public

Northwest Missouri State University has suspended its acceptance of recyclable materials from community members until further notice in an effort to safeguard University staff members tasked with handling, sorting and processing those materials during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Within its normal operations, Northwest accepts plastic containers, aluminum cans, mixed paper, cardboard and glass at the University’s Pellet and Recycling Plant, located in the 1100 block of Icon Road.
