Group looks for pee wee football players

Northwest Pee Wee Flag Football is looking for boys and girls in kindergarten to third grade to play pee wee football. Cost is $65 and includes jerseys, equipment costs, field usage and end of year party. Volunteers are also needed. First practice will be 6 to 7 pm, Thursday, August 18 at Beal Park in Maryville. Children participating will need to sign up and attend the Tuesday, August 23 practice. Games are played at Donaldson Park, Maryville.

This will be the first year for cheerleaders. Practice is on Tuesdays and the squad will cheer at one game a week. Cost is $40. For more information on the football and cheer, contact Julie Dack at 660.582.6911 or godseyjulie@hotmail.com.
