Former Maryville city councilman charged with Child Porn Possession

Possession of child pornography charges were filed Wednesday against a former Maryville city councilman in the 4th Circuit Court in Nodaway County.

Shawn D. Wake, 48, Maryville, was charged with two counts of Class B Felony Possession of Child Pornography – 2nd or Subsequent Offense or Possession.

His initial arraignment has been set for September 2.
