County gives opioid settlement dollars to court

Circuit Judge Corey Herron made a formal request for $3,000 of the opioid settlement funds from the Nodaway County Commission, who granted the request. Those available for the photo of the presentation were Associate Circuit Judge Robert Rice, Brenda Emery, Herron, all from the Fourth District Circuit Court and commissioners: Bill Walker, Scott Walk and Chris Burns. The opioid settlement funds will be used to pay for trackers for the drug court participants.
