Beebusters to meet
The Beebusters will meet from 7 to 9 pm, Monday, November 14 at the Laura Street Baptist Church. The monthly meetings are open to anyone interested in beekeeping.

The West Nodaway FFA Breakfast will be from 8 am to noon, Sunday, November 13 at the American Legion Post, Burlington Jct. The menu includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and hashbrowns. Freewill donations will be accepted.

Library offers adult program
The Maryville Public Library November adult program, “Christmas Tags and Treat bags” will be 10 am to 1 pm, Saturday, November 12 in the library basement. Registration is $5 at the front desk or by calling 660.582.5281. There are only 20 spots available.

The Nodaway Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 10 am, Saturday, November 12 at the First United Methodist Church, 102 North First Street, Maryville.
10th annual Christmas Craft Fair is at MCC
The 10th annual Christmas Craft Fair is from 9 am to 2 pm, Saturday, November 12 at the Maryville Community Center, 1407 North Country Club Road. Hosted by the Maryville Parks and Recreation, there will be over 50 vendors and crafters. Admission is $1. Children will be able to write letters to Santa.
Eagles to serve Hunters’ Breakfast
A Hunter’s Breakfast will be served from 8 to 10:30 am, Saturday, November 12 at the Eagles, 29997 US Highway 71, Maryville. There will be free coffee. The menu is pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and bacon. Cost is $8 a plate. A percentage of funds go to Adopt-A-Family.
Beef, Noodle dinner celebrates Veterans Day
Rolla Dicks American Legion Auxiliary is offering a beef and noodle dinner from 5 to 7 pm, Veterans Day, Friday, November 11 in Burlington Jct. The menu is beef and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, homemade rolls, dessert and drink. Veterans and spouses eat free. Adults are $10; children five and under are free.
Area schools honor veterans
Area schools are celebrating Veterans Day with assemblies and special meals. These events are: • North Nodaway will have a Veterans program at 9 am, Wednesday, November 9. • Eugene Field Elementary will hold an all-school assembly at 8:30 am, Friday, November 11 in the gym. Downtown Maryville sponsors first-ever Turkey Trot
Downtown Maryville will hold its first-ever Turkey Trot Walk/Run at 8 am, Thursday, November 24 at the corner of Fourth and Buchanan Streets.
