Several cemeteries in Nodaway County experienced a Memorial Day ceremony provided by Tri-C Memorial American Legion Post 464 members on May 28.
David R. Bell, 76, died Monday, May 29, 2023. He graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville. Mr. Bell served his country as a Navy corpsman during the Vietnam War. There are no services planned at Mr. Bell’s request. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
James Lyle Hefner, 84, Maryville, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Maryville Living Center, Maryville. He was born October 26, 1938, in Maitland, to Floyd L. and Gladys K. Wile Hefner.
