Senior Citizens senate works to reorganize senior center

The Nodaway County Senior Citizens Senate board met May 15 and continued its work on upgrading the Nodaway County Senior Center, so the center can qualify for future funding from the Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging (AAA). Nodaway County churches offer Vacation Bible School

The summertime staple of Vacation Bible School is available for Nodaway County children. Listed are the submissions of Nodaway County churches: June 10-14: Ravenwood Christian Church “Roar – Life is wild, God is good” for kindergarten through sixth grade from 8:30 to 11:30 am. Closing program will be held at 7 pm, Friday, June 14.

Historical group to host open house

The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum will host an open house of the Caleb and Jerusha Burns House, 422 West Second Street, Maryville, from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, June 9. The house was built about 1849 and is the oldest home in Maryville which is still standing on its original foundation. Society members
