The local Christian Motorcycle Association Crosswinds will meet at 7 pm, Sunday, November 13, at Pizza Hut, 732 South Main Street, Maryville. All interested motorcyclists are invited to attend.

Veterans, hunters and others are invited to the annual Elmo Veterans Day Dinner, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, Sunday, November 13, at the Elmo City Hall. Cost is $8 for adults; $3 for children. The menu includes smoked pork, fried chicken, potatoes, vegetables, salads and desserts. Raffle tickets will also be available.

The annual Chili and Soup Luncheon will be held from 11 am to 1 pm, Saturday, November 12, at the Maitland United Methodist Church. The free will donation luncheon will also include cheese sandwiches and desserts.
