WN sees no ‘W’ for courtwarming

  • The 2017 West Nodaway Courtwarming Queen and King were seniors, Courtney Finney and Weston Carter. Courtney is the daughter of Marla Finney and the late Ted Finney. Weston is the son of Jason Carter and Sharla Goff.
  • The West Nodaway Girls Basketball team had a strong second half against Mound City during the January 20 courtwarming game. The WN team rallied to out score their opponent 11-3, however, that was not enough to overcome Mound City’s large first half lead. The final score was WN 17, Mound City 49. Paige Hagey shoots for the basket. She scored six points.
