Sr. Gladys Noreen

Sr. Gladys Noreen, 87, died Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Our Lady of Rickenbach in Clyde.

She was born November 7, 1936, in Minneapolis, MN, to Carl and Ruth Weibel Noreen.

She was a 1958 graduate of Valparaiso University, receiving her a degree in sociology and religion. She received her nursing degree in 1967 and continued her education at Washington University in St. Louis and receiving her D of R in theology.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Phyllis Noreen.

Survivors include her monastic family and distant relatives in Sweden.

A wake service was held Friday, May 3 at Our Lady of Rickenbach Chapel and a Mass of Christian burial was held Saturday, May 4 also at Our Lady of Rickenbach Chapel.
