Judge Rice spends day with school children

Fourth District Associate Circuit Court Judge Robert Rice explained how the court system operates to two groups of school students, September 27. First up was Eugene Field Elementary third graders who had read the book, “The Trial of Cardigan Jones” by Tim Egan.

Vocabulary words were matched to real objects as Rice went through the basics and history of the United States Judicial System. Also, helping to explain were Victim Advocate and Assistant Prosecutor Amy Cloud.
