Clearmont raises funds for playground equipment

The Clearmont Community Club raised just over $5,000, September 7, by holding a poker run, taco bar, T-shirt sales and cash donations to buy a $65,000 playground structure for the Clearmont Community Park. There were 18 motorcycles, seven vehicles and 43 people from three states on the 102-mile ride to five community parks. The CCC has raised $28,000 to date toward the purchase of the playground equipment.
